Another flight…
I took another plane ride from Siem Reap to Bangkok, and it was late afternoon by the time I got to my hotel room. I relaxed in the cool air conditioned room for a couple of hours before going out. I just wanted to take a walk and grab some dinner so I landed at Khao San Road. There were lots of people, music, shops, restaurants, bars, massages on the streets, tuk tuks, cars, motorcycles and, of course, sidewalk vendors selling edible insects. No, thank you, to the disgusting insects!
I ended up having some Pad Thai as I watched the world pass by, and I was completely content. On my walk back to my hotel I ended up buying a selfie stick. What an Asian thing to do, I thought! LOL. It would come handy the next day when I would visit the Grand Palace…
