My Bucket List…Prince in Chicago

I can’t find my bucket list which I started some 7 years ago.  I remember finding it a few months ago and was surprised that it had been that many years since I started it, especially without scratching off too many goals.  I started to begin another list and remembered many from my memory.  I was happy that I could scratch off at least 4 items from my list, especially within 5 months!  They are:

  • Start a blog
  • Start a website
  • Travel to Prague
  • Attend a Prince concert (which I did last night!)

And in 7 days, I can scratch off “Travel to Barcelona” from my list.  As I only got to No. 79, I wondered if I should even continue adding so I can get to all 101.  I say this because after traveling to Turkey, my list changed.  My world changed, too.  Everything changed.  I added “Return to Turkey” as another item to my list by the way.  For now, I will keep adding until I get to 101.  Perhaps I will leave room for…the unexpected, the life changing, and paradigm shifts that happen in life.

As I mentioned above, I got to experience Prince in concert last night.  As I was so thrilled to see him, I was also very happy as it was another item to scratch off from my list.  He looked amazing, youthful (he’s 53 years old), and the energy at the United Center was amazing.  He sang the unpredictable “Nothing Compares 2 U,” which was  a surprise.  I was a very bad person (no camera/no recording policy), as I took some pictures as well as record a couple of songs for my own personal momentos.  But with all the iPhones today, everyone else was doing the same.  Thanks, Prince, for helping me with my Bucket List!

Prince looks ethereal.

Actual confetti from the song,
PURPLE RAIN!
