Today was absolutely gorgeous in Chicago. As my girlfriend and I sat outside Gibson’s having brunch, we were in heaven. Of course, the two mimosas along with the Crab Cake Benedict helped immensely. As we walked off the calories along Oak Street, I couldn’t help but take pictures. Then I remembered my dad as he used to take the same shot numerous times, annoying my little girl self from many years ago. As my passion for the camera lens was triggered by my Turkey trip, I didn’t realize I was so much like my dad taking unending shots of the same thing as to make sure I get the very best shot. Then my friend said, “You ARE your dad.” This brought tears to my eyes as he is long gone.
So I hope my dad would be proud as I am featuring the beautiful city of Chicago from today’s numerous shots…
star, I made a wish… boy making a wish as well.

I just noticed that the Fourth Presbyterian I thought the sun beaming
church is Gothic in style, just like the on the fountain in the back
church at Prague Castle. courtyard of the church was heavenly.

As the Wrigley Building’s clock tower suggests,
it’s dinner time in Chicago.
