When in Rome…

I have been out all day spending 5 hours straight on my feet to tour the ancient city center of the Roman Forum.  The site was much larger than you can imagine, and I was in awe, once again.  The Romans certainly knew how to live LARGE!  After touring ancient Rome, I had a glass of white wine followed by a glass of red wine followed by a plate of heavenly tonnarelli pasta with some cheese I have never heard of followed by an appetizer of warm potatoes and octopus followed by an entire basket of bread followed by 3 flavors (can you believe they put fresh whipped cream on top?) of the best gelato in the world at GIOLITTI!  Oh, and an espresso, of course.  Yes, I am living LARGE in Rome.  As it is close to 10 p.m., I must wind down and go to bed because I will be checking off another dream on my Bucket List by taking an early train in the morning to Florence! 

Size matters…in Rome!
